FAQ

It's on your website; do you have it in stock?

Unfortunately, not always. Because we sell off of our racks in each location, the turnovers are high, and we sell through most styles that we carry each season. If we do not have the style that you are interested in, we will first look to see if we have something similar and then check to see if it can be ordered directly through the manufacturer.

What size do I need and how do I correctly measure for my gown?

To determine your size follow the manufacturer's size chart, listed with each style.

  • Measure the bust over the fullest part, under your arms and across your back.
  • Measure the waistline in the smallest part.
  • Measure the hips at the fullest part of the buttocks.

Have some else measure you if possible! Note: Dresses that are too large can always be adjusted, but it is far more difficult for a seamstress to release a gown, if there is any room to let out at all.

If I measure correctly will I still need alterations?

Most likely. Gowns and designers all vary, so in most situations dresses must be hemmed, seemed, straps adjusted and pads or cups added for your specific bodytype. This is NORMAL and you should budget for these costs from your local seamstress. Alteration prices vary depending on the material(s) that the seamstress you will be working with. Quotes for alteration are only given in-store, by a qualified seamstress.

Is there a charge for shipping?

YES.  We keep the cost low and attempt to only charge what the carrier charges us to deliver the item.

If express shipping is required you should contact your sales consultant directly! Please call to obtain an email address. We must be aware of the "wear date" or day the of the event in which the gown or apparel is to be worn!  This is very important to insure you get your dress on time with allotted time for alterations!

What is the difference between a "rush-ship"?

Rush Shipping merely states that we will be charging you an additional fee for the merchandise to be received sooner.  You will be notified of the exact charges before the payment confirmation is completed.
